I've heard a bit more of these two in the last couple weeks and my curiousity got the best of me. I'm pretty sure the two dogs, if found in a dogs pedigree, can add to handler aggression? Just assuming, I don't really know. It would be great if any of you could clear things up for me and tell me an benefits or negative results of having a Fero or Mink dog. :)

Myhgsdrebel, please examine this most recent link: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/144914.html#144948 There are many posts on the database about the strong and weak points of these two (2) sires.

in the working dog GSD world. you are either looking at dogs very focussed on sport and competition and the other are more on the Civil side with above average aggression.
Fero has produced some of the most balanced dogs in the GSD world. He has been overused because he was a dynamite period and he was damn good.
Bob-O's comments summarizes all. Salztalblick is now heavily breeding on Nick. Another great producer of recent times.
cheers

Thanks Bob-O for the link... I was looking for this discussion for some time now... Working-line dogs with high-breed value...
