Just wondering. One of my shepherds had chronic dieareah. No dog food helped. I went to a holistic vet and she told me to give my dog okra pepsin. It worked immediately, bad part is, it is expensive. I was wondering if a dog can eat okra? I grow plenty of it. Has anyone fed there dog okra? Thanks

I have a Dalmatian that loves Okra, she will eat it right off the plant. It gives her really bad gas, so we try to limit her intake. LOL!

Two moons, Guess what ? " real vets" cant figure it out. I was even sent to Gainseville. supposedly the best in Florida. I met a man with a seeing eye dog GSD. He spent 4 thousand dollars and six month and the vets couldnt figure it out. Almost the same as my dogs story. Okra pepsin is the only thing that helps, my dog went from black and tan ti red and tan. 57 lbs to 64 lbs and looks and feels like a puppy again. The holistic vet I use, was a regular DVM and when she practiced for years and saw that there were alot of animals regular medicine cant help. she went back to school and studied holistic med.
