Hi everyone!!!!
I have sent this pup home with his new family, I think I guessed his markings incorrectly,
I put him in as a black & red, but I was leaning towards sable or bi-color, any opinions?
His sire is sable, the dam is black & red.
Hopefully the people that got him will send me a pic of him when he is alittle older!!
THANKS!

Looking at the pup, I would say Sable. Now watch, it will end up being a bi-color!, fooling everyone!

Its a black and red sable!
LOL..... its cute. I see some color on his legs, I see some red in his litter mates.
Until you've had some experience with this mating it might be hard to predict. Puppies change as they mature, and mine seem like they changed twice as they grew.
He kinda looks like he could be bi-color, except for what looks like markings on his chest and neck.
LOL..... good luck, I cant tell.

He doesn't look like a sable pup to me. I will say a bi-color. I do not think sables will heve that kind of black over lay this young. JMO. There is a light patch on his rear but I think that is from the light in the room.

Bi color.
even the darkest black sable puppies will be predominately tan at that age.

definately not sable - he's dark black/red or possibly bicolor.

dark red/black bi-color or near black, whatever you want to call it. I agree that sable pups are less dark at that age.
keep us updated.
