Ground yellow corn is the third ingrediant. We look for dog and cat food where corn is way down the list if there at all. Most of ours we use do not have any corn. The feral barn cats food does have some corn but low on the list.

Domenic,
I used this food for about a year and loved it. I have a friend who has used it for 5 plus years and her dogs look very nice. Only reason I changed food was because my dog has allergies and I had to do a lot of changing to find something that would work with his allergies.

I recommend Timberwolf, Innova Evo, RM and RF. Ive found Canidae very cheap for the weight at a health food store, which actually is of higher quality that California Natural. California Natural and Canidae is only fed when my pockets are tight.

Most of our get Canine Caviar, a couple get Natural Balance Duck and Potatoe. We have had exceptional results with these two foods. We also feed raw 2 feedings per week.

Domenic,
I have used the Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken for almost 2 years, my dog loves it.
I have checked the ingredients BEFORE I started to use it and the only reason that I chose this is because there is NO CORN in the Holistic formula.
D.H. who sometimes posts on here highly recommended the food also, and there are posts from her and others, also.
My dog did not do well on raw at all, but every dog is different.
