Anyone out there going to brave the madhouse?  I couldn't believe how many people we saw tonight waiting outside several stores for them to open at 4 or 5 A.M.  It's now 2 A.M. here.   Saw folks at Walmart, Staples, Target, 6th Avenue Electrics.  And those are just the stores that we passed!  Hope it's worth it for them!  LOL  It's become a sport for people it seems!  No thank you for me!  Besides I do alot of it on the internet anyways and gift cards.  :)

I don't try to tackle that either.  Every year I say that I am going to though!  Then when the time comes, either we have BILLS to pay, or just plain don't have the extra money : - {  Oh well, would rather stay in bed and sleep when it's this cold out anyway, lol.

Heck No!  I know this sounds very stupid but, I'd much rather pay a little more than deal with rude, nasty people.  I too do most of my shopping via internet (and sometimes, you can get deals thru the internet you cannot get otherwise).  Only issue with this is the damned shipping.  But, you cannot have it all.

This year though, it came back to bite me in my arse!  Someone committed fraud against my account (debit card) thru an affiliate company of ebay.  My hubby warned me this would happen.  $1,500 worth.  Ugh...right at property tax and Christmas time.  Have an investigation going on now.  (But, I had just got the majority of the Christmas shopping done before this...hence someone using my debit card id).

For anyone braving this...I do hope it's well worth it for you.  You're a braver person than I.

Me? Just a trip out to buy dog food. Yes, I was reminded that I should have done this Wednesday evening but hey, it was raining hard and I had a job interview. I can handle this.

Its the traffic that really scares me. There's going to be a lot of asshole drivers out there, with the mentality that if they dont get to that store fast enough they will die and the world will end. Im headed to Tim Hortons for some breakfast and thats it, oh, maybe Krogers too, didnt have any pecan pie at the grandmothers last night. No way in hell youll catch me in Wal Mart though. That place is bad enough without black friday. I was in there the other day waiting in a self checkout lane. The lady in front didnt know how to do the machine, had to get help and so on. Then she pulls out one dollar at a time from her pants to feed into the machine. Every single dollar was all balled up and krinkled so the machine wouldnt take it. She kept trying and trying finally till the machine accepted the little green snot rags. Then behind me I hear, " Hey man, Hey! Are you in line?". Dude, what the shit? I looked at him, stared into his eyes, trying to figure out if this was a case of alcohol fetal syndrome, and let him know that I wasnt just standing there for the sake of standing there, or because I just had absolutely nothing better to do. People drive me nuts sometimes, which is why I prefer my dogs.

No interest what so ever. I've seen utter madness at one of these things, people reverting to primative animals, pushing and shoving just so they can save a few cents on some discount crap from Walmart, just to witness it makes me ill, I'll pass.

We need Christmas lights and thats it. When I was 17-18 I worked at very major mall in the area and always got stuck with a Black Friday shift. Worst day of the year, hands down. I don't even leave my house if I can avoid it.

The only shopping I'm doing is the feed store for cat, bird, sheep/goat, and mule food.  A good enough sale I'll stock up for the whole winter.  I'll either have Jim pick it up next week or get it delivered tomorrow.  I'll swing by on the way to working dogs.

I was gonna venture out for the first time, had my list together, had my plan of attack and I was all ready til I started yawning and couldn't keep my eyes opened by 2 am.  I thought to myself how in the world am I gonna make it??  So I just said to hell with Black Friday and went to bed. lol

Only as far as the feed store. I quit buying Xmas gifts years ago. No family here in PA, no one expects anything, no money, so no interest in shopping these days. I haven't even put up a tree ithe last couple years.
