Has anyone seen the article about Samuel "Jason" Ferren of Elite K9 being Federally indicted? http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/tnw/press_releases/2007/2007Oct17Bumpus.htm Apparently, Ferren and the Sheriff and another employee of Henry County, Tennessee were indicted on firearms violations where the firearms were used for personal use, but billed to the Sheriff's Department.
I just don't know as a police officer, how I could ever buy K9 equipment from him again. Anyone have any thoughts?

Good Evening to all. My Name is Mike and I own/Operate Lakewood K-9 and am VERY PLEASED with the Quality of service from the guys at Elite K-9. Personally, I deal with the Co-Owner...Luke Gibson. Prompt,Professional and very knowledgeable.
So , I pose this question.....If You have gotten great service in the past , WHY stop just because Jason got into some trouble???? Doesn't your K-9 deserve the best ???

I have delt with Elite K9 for about 7 years now, and have also never had any problems. Rumors in this business are not hard to find. I am not sure how Jason getting in trouble, but not convicted of anything, has anything to do with the company products or customer service?

Jason is a good guy. Elite K9 does a fabulous job and I would not consider moving my business anywhere. Jason is a former Marine and former police officer. He got caught in the middle of some uproar involving a business he owned several years ago. Basically a crooked sheriff got in trouble and Jason was one of his vendors. Jason did not gain from this nor did he know anything about what the sheriff was doing. Elite has great products and great prices. I think a lot of people perpetuate these stories for their own personal gain.

Also he was dismissed from the Benton Police Department for some kind of misconduct.
