I dunno about you, but I think this is one gorgeous working line. I've seen worse with Kkl 1's. JMO. I'm definitely no conformation expert. lol.

really straight shoulder so maybe his movement wasn't what the judge wanted to see, his reach may have been short/limited.  Or, perhaps he wasn't ring-trained well enough, maybe he paced or pulled or ran or refused to be stacked, or have his teeth or testicles checked.  Could be many reasons why a good-looking dog in one standing picture could KKl-2.  He is good-looking IMO but there are other things they look at for breed survey - structure, movement (and ring-trained dogs do better than non-ring trained), gunshots, heel off leash - if the judge saw any aggression toward the handler (or the judge) he could knock him down - the judge didn't like the bloodlines, lots of reasons why.

Ex is a very nice dog IMO. I could watch him work all day. Looks are not all that goes into a KKL 1 or 2 rating. There are things like size and teeth to be considered as well. I have not read his report so I don't know what it says but he could have lost points for a number of reasons. Nothing wrong with KKL 2. Just think of how many dogs and bitches don't even get that.

Since Im not a breed warden , Judge or qualified     couldnt make that call.

You leave that to the person that work his way to that position..

Also, keep in mind that if this dog can also be bumped up too, when he is presented for his resurvey.  However if it is something with his teeth, this would not be possible.

I do not like his shoulders... his ears look tiny and for a working line boy his back is really roached...

Here is his dad    I believe just by guessing,,,,,only.....that it is because he is  a large body dog that needs to be bred to a smaller female...so a KKL2 was given...

both dogs are rather large    could be the sole reason..
my foundation bitch was out of   Zilla v Weithurchen KKL2 for that same reason.....oversize and breed down  by the Koresmeister decision in ger.

Read the kor report, it should give details as to the judges critique, both strong points and weak.

I looked for the koer and couldnt find one....I read the comments   all 20 of them and I believe one person along the end of those comments   did quote something from part of the Koer..

a medium large dog........all the top dogs on sire side are rather large dogs....making me think along those lines ,of a little too large  , since I dont have the Koer or the  measurements on any of these dogs....Where is Louise   or Jennie.....do you have the site to find the Koer    report..?
