hi everybody,
my 10 month bitch though very good looking well angulated, i mean, in all respect a good show specimen but only thing is she lacks "current". there is liveliness but she looks bored when stacked. will always try to show her reluctance. whenever tried to make trot, will appear as if class teacher has scolded a duffer student. how to make her full of life and current. any comments and suggestions

Have you tried baiting her with a really good treat. How about making it fun for you. Play around with her, be a goof, happy make alot of happy noise while you are trying to gait her. If it is fun and she has been well socalized she should bounce around quickly. If you both are having fun, it will all fall into place when you are in the show ring. She is still a puppy, so encourage her to have fun while you are trotting around in circles. JMO

act like a clown while you bait her ,,put the treat or her prey toy at her nose pulll it up to your face ,,,gait her with it and talk to her like a goof ball,,,,talk to her....tell her she is your fun girl talk act silly bring toy back and forth when she look back stop and restart.....do small sessions twice a day.....praise her and beef her up keep her high feed with your hands on floor in den for 30 days her dinner lunch and breaksfast.....out of your hand......not a bowl......it works....she will adore your =every move....keep what ever she responds to at your eye level teasing her to look at you and in a short ., reward her....the start whatever your training her to do with the same glee.......she will respond.in happiness....you got to get her attention
Like a farmer has to get a mules' attention and that is usually in a different way ,,,,
