Bloat ( GDV) - Page 1

Just got off phone with a lady whos 22 mos old gsd died of bloat yesterday afternoon.....She did not know =much about bloat, and the vet just told her German shepherds are famous for it...

Not much of an explanation  , IMO....so I am posting this good article   and it tells about the reason for  a tsp of apple cider vinegar in our dog food and the good ole  yogurt in the dogs intestinal,,,,inspite of what some people say is not necessary.....indeed it is\\\

Look at the first four ingredients in your dog food and note  the fact that if one of them is fat oriented   that is an acid maker...it tells about    Soybean products, Brewers yeast and Alfalfa being an acid maker   which produces   gas   

And the best of all     Keep   Gas X in your cabinet for your   DOG   not You....I thought so....Ive said all along   I give my kids a rolaid  when I see them eating grass.....they want to throw up because they feel like I do     INDIGESTION

So my white shepherd burps allllll the time!  Does that mean I should give her some gas x???  I really don't want anything happening to her.  I would hate for that to happen to any of them.  I have had friends who also lost the GSD to bloat.  Wasn't pretty.  I didn't know you could give your dog Gas X.  How much do you give them a day?  She is 72 lbs.

just give her the amount of her weight according to like a child....if she weights 55 lbs   it ought to say on bottle   I like pills   easier  ....use a syringe into corner of dogs mouth and rub throat   give a treat and whallah.......

Aye!now we be gettin somewhere! me needs some o' this Gas X Aye..this weekend me been drinkin Thunderbird by t' gallon and be eatin Xanax tabs like M&M's. Me started smellin somethin today and then me remembered last week me boiled about 6 dozen eggs for me and t' doggies Aye T' eggs smelled really, really bad, but bein so damn hungry me figured might as well nosh down Aye!at first they tasted really bad but after bout 18 or so started t' taste better. they have t' grey/greenish rin' around t' yokes. kind o' filme wit a sulfer taste AYE! no matter but now me has a case o' gas ye wouldn't believe Arrrr"

The ingredient to be in whatever    " gas X" tablet u  give  ,  must contain  "Simethicone"      not just regular Mylanta  but   Mylanta  Gas X
