My cousin and I took our dogs up to the park today. While there we were "accosted" by some prick who felt the need to chastise my cousin for having an unaltered male. My cousin is no slouch when it comes to dog care and he's perfectly aware of the stats as far as unwanted animals that are euthed each year but his Staffie is his stud dog. All of this was relayed to the idiot who then went into a rant when she found out the Staffie was a stud dog. My cousin doesn't hit women, but I myself had no problem telling this looney chic to piss off! I'm glad you are all for saving dogs from the death chamber lady, but My God, could you have been any more presumptuous, pompous and all out F-ing rude? Its half wits like this that give animal advocates a bad rep... My cousin told me this is not the first time he's had this happen to him, I'm wondering how many others have faced "ball prejudice? ...Still Heated!

I have strong feelings about neutering males.

I won't get into it as it would create the main ingredient of flame wars here, which is not that hard to create.

My dog, Jake is not a stud dog but he still has both of his balls in tact. He has been around when my Zambi was in heat. Out of approx 4 heat cycles that Zambi went thru... NOT once has their been a mistake breeding to the both of them and their both HOUSE DOGS, not kennel dogs. I'm well responsible for having unaltered dogs around my house.

I think you and your cousin approached an anti breeder, or a woman who is a lesbian? I dunno. Do you remember what she was ranting about?

John and JoAnn (good comeback lol) - I'm in NC, Durham area. Brittany the basis of the rant was that my cousin and his unaltered dog is on a path to exploding the dog population all by himself, she just basically pre-judged him as an irresponsible nimrod because his dog was intact? What if the dog had a vasectomy instead? She just saw a pair of nuts and went nuts herself! My cousin showed a lot of patience, me being older, I just don't have as much patience as I use to.

Perhaps it was a case of twisted neuticle envy? (ouch!) I get it from one of the vet partners every time I go there, "it's time to neuter him!" well, no, it's not! If his hips aren't ok, then I'll consider it when Beckett's 2, not before...jh

Your cousin did showed a lot of patience. If it were me in the same position, I would of torn the woman a new butt if she started accusing me of being a contributer to the dog overpopulation. Unfortunately theirs people in this world who's offended about everything.. It usually means that their lives aren't good and they want everybody else around them to go down with them as well.

Do you and your cousin by any chance own a truck? You guys should go out and get the truck balls and when you approach this woman again (hopefully when shes driving), get in front of her with your trucks and really blow her mind off LOL. I bet with the rage she feels, she'll cause herself to spontaneous combustion. I can read it now on the national headlines, “NC Woman spontaneous combustion after looking at balls” Jay Leno would have a field day if that happens.

Wow you still go to the same vet? what gender is this vet partner? Male I assume? Next time he mentions neutering to you, tell him to get himself neutered first :D

By the way Beckett is a very nice looking dog :)
