unregistered dogs - Page 1

iv registered my dog on the database, but some dogs on the pedigree are not reg on the data base. but they are on my official pedigree from the U.K. kennel club, am i allowed to put them down manually somehow?

Yes, you can fill in the blanks.  Just enter like a new dog.

Click on the name of the dog you want to enter the parents for. You should see an option above tha name that says 'edit pedigree'. Click on that, and enter the parents. It will tell you if they are in the database or not. If not, scroll to where it says "register mother/register father", and click on that. A new window will pop up. Enter the info for the parent (each dog/bitch has to be done separately). Once they are entered, go back to the original dog, and refresh the page. They should show up as being the parents now. Occasionally, there's a glitch in the system and one of them won't show. If that happens, check to see if the name you entered on the offspring's page is identical to the one you entered when registering the parent.. Re-enter it if necessary, and refresh the page again

IF YOU DON"T REFRESH THE PAGE, THE DOG WILL NOT LINK TO ITS PARENTS!  Same thing will happen if you enter the sire and dam individually, without pulling up their offspring's page first.
