REAL WOMEN throw the deer they hit in the back of the van for dressing out later. I usually manage to "bag" one every year. Euthanization is not an issue when you keep a 9mm under the seat. Taxidermy isn't an option, but it keeps the freezer full. We have enough rabbits around her to feed a small army. Pheasant season was so good I'm giving the stuff away, and there's a nice fat wild turkey waiting downstairs for TG. I wish the husband would let me feed the stff to the dogs, but he's so proud of it we are bound to eat it all ourselves. I am SICK of pheasant. Maybe I can abscond with some deer for the dogs this year, if I be stealthy enough... They LOVE IT!

Hello wild bunch,
Thats an interesting link there captMike. A bit salty on the price's.
But they have a nice variety. Shelley I think I'll avoid your neck O the woods during season..lol.
Keep my head down as it were.
I'm like your husband, me first and the dogs wait for leftovers.

I didn't say I dresseed out the deer. I only said I'd haul it to the hunting club a block up the street and drag the carcass into the cooler. Shelley wants nothing to do with meat and fish between the time it breaths its last and when its in white butcher paper waiting for the oven!
That's what god made MEN for!
$28. apiece for rabbits? I'm sure I have a few thousand in cash hopping around here right this minute causing my dogs to bark and break the long down! :((((
It serves them right when I cook them up and eat them. they eat my garden, and I eat THEM!

uh-oh,
As a man I resemble that remark.lol
We do have our good points ya know.

Curious creatures indeed, men. Shelley has never appreciated the logic behind taking a day off work to freeze one's arse off in a tree all day, when all one must do is fail to brake hard enough on the way down the street. As long as I can still find parts for the front end of the van in local junk yards, don't look for me to buy a hunting license!

lmao,
Thats what I love about women, always looking for that bargain.
Yeah the freezin your goni's of in a tree really bites.
Luckily I just watch the back woods and wack one in the clearing. sometimes from my bedroom window.
Not very sporting without the freezing part I guess. But I do like the meat.
