This is Bonnie's hip x-ray, she is 28 months, they have just been sent in,
the vet. says they will past, so I'm happy, just can't stand the wait!
Did elbows too, those looked fine, I just didn't want to hold them up
to the window to take their picture.
Here's her hips. THANKS!

Thanks Molly,
this is Virgo Von Ryan's mom, and as they say, I guess I closed the barn door
after the pups got out!
She had her first litter of pups Sept. 16th, she got right back into shape, and I started
doing jog a dog on my bike with her 6 miles here & there, she would get home from that & still
have energy!

Thanks Lorna!
I'm always hesitant upon checking out replies from people,
why is that........................
The vet did a shot that knocked her out, then I waited, checked-out the x-rays,
and then the vet gave her a wake-up shot & off went!
better than dropping them off for the entire day!
Plus, after we got home about an hour later, she had to go potty, which the
vet. tech pointed out to me on the x-rays, so I new when she started to whine to go out,
that's what that was all about! (These smilies are fun!!!
)

Darn......I don't know why??? But, I do know what you mean!
Life shouldn't be like that.....we're here to learn, and what better place to do so??
Sometimes wish I could share more freely too, but haven't earned my "stripes" yet....
Kinda makes the mountain bigger to climb, but glad we're not doing it alone.

looks like a little less bone deensity on the rt femoral head, this could be due to computer imaging

THANKS GUYS!!!
I actually held the x-ray with my left hand,up to my sliding glass door,
while I took a picture of it with my digital camera, then I mailed them in,
cause the vet coudn't give me a copy, so I had to improvise!!!
I also did elbows, they looked good, but I didn't want to hold them up,
to the door,so I didn't take their pics.(Kids were in school, no help!)
Thank goodness it was a sunny day out!!!

That would be Domitor! Love that stuff! Works great for hip xrays and for ummm well not so cooperative animals! Including cats, we give them something called a "kitty cocktail" which is a combo of a couple of different things, but works great!
I just did my boy's recently and have to send them in yet. :) Will be doing my girls soon too, both were "a" normal at a year, but wanted to see what the OFA had to say.
