Hi,
Can any one suggest me on this:
1. How good is animal fat (pork oil) for dogs?
2. How to avoid rickets?
3. what is the best food for gsd?

Dogs are not designed to consume processed grains/cereals etc and so have no need for carbohydrates, unlike us they get their energy from fats, so fats are needed in greater or lesser quantities depending on age, temperament, exercise etc.
Plenty of sunshine will ensure that the body metabolises calcium correctly thus avoiding rickets.
The best food for a GSD is one that suits it.
I feed raw but there are hundreds of choices out there, avoid those with colourings, artificial preservatives, flavourings, salt, sugar etc etc
