What does it mean "insufficient" (ungenuegend) for a dog in the BSZS and why did the particular dog got U2? Any hint would be appreciated! Thanks!

by solo on 11 September 2004 - 12:09

ungenuegend - is given when the dog is withdrawn from the class, BEFORE judging is finished, without permission. Most people wanting to withdraw their dog from its class, (usually because it has been placed lower than they expected) just visit the VET, and obtain a certificate (around 10 euros) and then get an EZ (excused) grade. Yak has had his 'U' grade amended to an EZ, because he had been injured in an accident, I hear he was knocked down by a car, and was genuinely unable to carry on in his class on the Sunday, apparently his owner was so concerned about his dog (Yak) he forgot to ask about the certificate, and quite properly in this genuine case, it was later accepted. Yak vom Frankengold was therefore graded EZ at Karlsruhe.

I thought that Yak was killed by a soccer player that drove his car on the field? Can someone clarify this? Thank-you, Dawn Bonome

His foot was run over as he was making his way through the crowd in the prodegny group assemby area. I was standing there as it happened. This is a factual account from an eye witness. Rumors can cease now.

Dog1 - Thank you for the factual account!! And yes, hopefully the rumors will cease!
