Benefit Schutzhund Protection Tournament - Page 1

Hi out there!

El Cajon Schutzhund Club is planning to host a Schutzhund Protection Tournament as a benefit for our dog fiends that have suffered losses during the recent wildfires here in San Diego county, CA.   The anticipated date of this event is December 1, 2007; a Saturday.  All breeds are welcome and there will be cash prizes and trophies for the top dogs and for top H.O.T. dog.  We hope to have a raffle and as always there will be a meal available plus the usual drinks.  The club has donated the field and equiptment and we are in the processs of getting experienced helpers.  I'll have more information as it unfolds so I hope those of you that can participate will show up.  We are going to be discussing the all important entry fees and hope to come up with one that is affordable so that not only will we be able to contribute to this worthy cause , but also be able to foster friendship within the Schutzhund community.  We will gratefully accept donations whether they be cash, merchandise for prizes, or items of equiptment for the raffle.  ALL proceeds will be used for helping out those in need due to the fires.  I will posting very frequently.  Please contact me via personal message or at deleond@gmail.com  (619) 207-7668  Thanks.                 Don

What a wonderful endeaver! I only wish I were close enough to participate. Maybe someone else might like to host an event such as "Tracking for Dollars/" We may have snow any day now, so its probably not feasible here, but in a nicer climate...

How come all the fun events are at the other end of the earth from me? lol  I wish someone would do something like that within a reasonable driving distance on the East Coast.  What a wonderful idea and for such a good cause.  Best of luck to you guys I hope it is a huge success.
