My Neice just called me and told me her 7 month old puppy just ate about 30 of those minature Christmas light repalcement bulbs. The package was out side and she some how managed to get ahold of them off a top shelf storage bin. I called my Vet had he told me that there wasn't much you could do except watch her for the next couple of days, and check for blood in the stool. Any one have any ideas. I told her to feed her some breed, thinking that might help bind the glass and protect her stomach some what. Any other ideas.

Actually, you're probably right, the more food the dog eats, the better it
will cushion the glass, those bulbs are rather strong, so they probably
won't break.
I had a Labrador Retriever that ate a candle, a jar of vaseline, a wool sweater, and whatever
else was in my daughter's room, she thought it was safe to leave him in her room.
It was really wild, he went to the bathroom & out came the pink candle & the orange sweater,
and who knows what else!
(I think the vaseline helped in a way).......

When my dog got into something my vet told me to feed her some white toast (not toasted). Apparently that can help kind of wrap it up and make the passage a little more safe when there are sharp edges involved. Certainly can't hurt I guess. My kiddo was ok.

Thanks for the ideas. Hopefully every thing will pass OK.

When Libby was about 1, she ate a light bulb right out of a lamp. I did give her some bread and she past everything with no problem. The only signs that she ate the glass was some minor cuts around her mouth.
I hope your pup makes out ok as well.
