Shelley Strohl

by Shelley Strohl on 09 November 2007 - 15:11

I want to thank Tracy Bullinger for her generous hospitality for several days in Vancouver, and the opportunity to have a wonderful dog to compete with next year. It took me days to decide which of the beautiful prospects she offered me, but my heart was won on Sunday when I saw 15 month old Jed vom Bullinger proudly gait around the practice ring for the first time ever and then WOW me with his work in protection! Jed is a handful, a bouncy, goof-ball still very much a puppy between his beautiful ears, but that's just the kind of dog I wanted, with aspirations for the Universal Sieger podium someday in the future and a few stops at Sieger shows along the way! (I think BIG!) At this point we are just bonding (read: I chase him around the house trying to recover snow boots, fashion apparel items, cooking utensils, TV remotes, etc.) but I hope to have him well started in tracking and obedience before the weather turns ugly and I have to find something else to do with ALL THAT ENERGY! Anyone who wants to say show dogs don't work is cordially invited to have their mind changed by this typically Bullinger young boy!

Jed is a son of multiple VA Kevin Murrtal x VA Germany Bierstadter Hof.
Here are the pix I took on Sunday.
YIPPEE!

Jed's momma is VA Germany vom Bierstadter Hof. Although not listed on the databases, I believe Germany is SchH3, IP3, and FH1 as listed in URMA's book when she went V-A. I didn't get a chance to see her work in person, but am told she is a real firecracker. Kevin's record speaks for itself: Multiple x  V-A: 2x in Germany,  Sieger 1x Canada, 1x USA, 1x NASS. (maybe more?)

There's no substitute for experience... and I wouldn't DARE fail with this dog! My entire life's reputation is at stake! LOL
Not to mention Tracy would probably shoot me... and I would deserve it.
