Do shepherds blow their coats in November. My female is shedding like crazy like she did when summer started, is this normal. She is definately out of coat and I dont' like it lol.

Doesn't matter, as far as I know. They generally blow their coats twice a year, and I think alot depends more on their age than on season. Every 6 mos., approximately. Mine just finished hers, and my old dog, born in July rather than May, generally always cycled on 6-mo increments of age or so. (BTW, we lived in same place, and even when I briefly lived north, the old dog kept her cycle.) Never heard my sister's 2 dogs predictable by season, either.

It can also be tied to when they come into their heat cycle. twice a year is not unusual.
