I just got back from Tracy Bullinger's place in B.C. It took me three days to decide which youngster I would beg hardest for her to let me take. ;) She has a lot of really nice dogs and pups. You can't go wrong with Bullinger shepherds.

Willi and Julie Ortner have some nice pups on the ground right now.  They are ready to go home this week actually.  They have only males available, both working and not so high drives that may be more suitable for pet homes.

The website is www.ortnervonderpfalz.com they are great people and honest as well!  Good luck!

vonissk,  just be sure they convey to which ever breeder they choose what they WANT, DESIRE, EXPECT, and NEED from the pup....  Hopefully the breeder will be able to assist them in picking the "RIGHT" pup given these criteria....   Good Luck and hope all goes well....

I have several suggestions for reputable breeders, both workimg and show. My first suggestion wopuld be Suzanne Eviston. She has bred for many yrears, has been involved in schutzhund and SV -style shows since childhood and is currently a K9 officer in Washington State. She is one of the most ethical breeders around. Her email is SEVISTON@aol.com In California, I would suggest contacting one of the USA schutzhund clubs for references. You csan also check the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, www.germanshepherddog.com and check the kennel listings. Nia
