opinions on xrays - Page 1

Hi all,

I would greatly appreciate opinions on my males recent xrays.  He was "a" normal at one year of age.  He is almost 6 now.

If these are from your male at age six, they are in excellent shape!

Thanks I thought that they looked pretty good to me.  But, I'm no expert. 

I'm going to submit them to the OFA for a rating.  What do you think that they will rate?

This is on the OFA website.  My guess would be Fair to Good on his xray.  It's obviously not dysplastic.  I too have seen those severly dysplastic dogs xrays and how they progress.

I think they look very good, clean, no problems, excellent x-ray, pretty good positioning (could be positioned straighter/more parallel) - for a 6 year old dog I say - no problems.  He should rate Good IMO.  Congratulations, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Molly, took the xray myself, well with some help.  :)  Noticed the straighter more parallel part too after I was waking him up.  GRRRR
