I don't know about you, but I love it when my gsds howl! Try these links out on your dogs, if you'd like to host a sing-a-long! We've been singing all afternoon, Beckett can especially hit the high notes! Kali yips a lot, but will occassionally let a long ,low howl out. I love to hear them, I think it's a beautiful sound. jh

When my wife pulls up in her vehicle, our 2 chihuahuas start howling like crazy. My old Maineiche-Karthago bitch joins in, and then I add to the mix. It can almost shatter glass!

all four of mine howl(neighbors love me) when the police sirens go by- we sit & laugh, we know the sirens going before we ever actually hear it !

i've only learned recently that my dogs will howl at the noon fire siren that happens in our town.  I'm not typically home at that time and it just cracks me up.  They don't howl otherwise.
