pro's and cons  .is it really worth it ?

i'd like to hear from the people who have had 100% success more than once.

I have produced many litters using AI.   both fresh, chilled and frozen.     Litter sizes have ranged from 3 pups up to 10 pups.   I actually prefer it.. doesn't take as long!

Im going to it totally,,,this fighting and guessing game is for the birds  ...I have two litters from AI  4 pups on one as she was a first time breeder....not mine, but my stud and I have another that had 6....

Really good vet here in Tyler, actually one of the only ones that I would use.....and hes known for it...Thats the key ,,,,find a vet with a reputation for doing it successfully..

I use it extensively for my Ludo v. Tiekerhook son.

 You MUST have a vet who knows what he is doing and is EXPERIENCED at it.

Also, the bitch must be check regularly. progesterone levels, smears etc. Much safe for both dogs too

K9sar: Yes and having a female checked  gives the vet the oportunity to spot any problems    and tell the owner of the female....or the stud also......you know right fast if a test is bad or no sperm or low count.....

People often breed with no vet checks and the male may have no sperm or low count of blood in his,,,and the vet can warn you or tell you and y can adjust the  program , if need be....

So many pro s for doing it....Two of my females I would not do AI , they are quick mater, dont fight and no problem knowing they are in heat and have good heats, easy to follow.

Have another female who fights from the time of entry to the end  ...not good for my male...so off to AI on her...
