Back in 98 I had the opportunity to see and be attacked by the most fearsome Manstopper I have ever encountered. He was a huge, blazing fast, very serious son of Cello. I was so impressed that I purchased his son. My grandson of Cello is maybe the best all around dog I have ever owned of any breed. My grandson of Cello is not so hyper that he can't be enjoyed as a pet, yet if need be, he can and will defend our lives. The Cello dogs may be considered Highlines, but they have a special place in my heart.

if you go backwards from cello and see his line you will find that his is one of the best from the mütz pletzierfarm line. and mütz is line breed in many of todays working line dogs. i think wusv winner this year ängbakken`s rosso has mütz manny times in 9. and 10 part of his pedigree, i think cello will be werry jusfull in the futher of breeding. if you dont want just the loock but allso the hole gsd. so i think he is one of the great studs that have given us eros up to hill and now dux... best regards from aanje

Cello is one of the most significant lines to look for in a show line pedgree if you want good working potential.

I love Cello line dogs for temperament.

I agree with all of the positive responses. I always look for Cello bloodlines in a show dog.

Just noticed something interesting. If you look at Cello's Koer report, you will see it says: Does not release (Lass nicht aus), which would confirm what you are saying about him being a serious manstopper, and not just playing at the schutzhund game.

Are you really that naive????????

"Serious" means he bites not to play but to harm. "Hard" may mean the dog can easily recover from pain/stress or he doesn't run for cover when challenged ..."
This I've learned the hard way from a good trainer in the country...
My question about Cello Romerau ( which i've read had the Martins influence... like his pedigree manipulated and that he is an inbreed???) by the way you can check out the comments about the dog ( talking about GSD gossips..) ...
He did not "Aus" in the protection phase of his Koer... is that a good one ???... or do we expect some OBEDIENCE problems with the bloodline...???
