HELLO EVERYONE

I AM LOOKING FOR ANYONE WHOM CAN EXPLAIN TO ME THE LOOKS OF DIFFRENT TYPES OF PUPPY COATS?  I AM LOOKING AT BUYING A PUP THAT SEEMS TO HAVE A LITTLE PLUSH TYPE COAT  THAT I THOUGHT WAS LONG COAT BUT THE BREEDER TOLD ME THAT ITS JUST A SHOWLINE PUPPY COAT THAT WILL COME OUT TO BE A LITTLE THICKER THAN STANDARD BUT NOT CONSIDERED LONG.  CAN YOU TELL AT 7 WEEKS WHAT TO LOOK FOR? OR DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY PICS OF A PLUSHY PUP THAT TURNED OUT NOT LONG COAT?  AND IS THERE ANY SUCH THING AS A SHOWLINE COAT?     ANYTHING WILL HELP.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

I have a stock coated puppy, You can see his picture in my previous post. Check for extra fur in and around the ears. Mine has it. Also check for hair between his toes. If the puppy has either he will be stock coat meaning too long to show but with an undercoat. They are beautiful and unless you want to show its not a problem.

DAVE GASTON

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE PICS.  THE PUP THAT YOU HAVE LABELED LONG COAT IS WHAT MINE LOOKS LIKE HOWEVER THERE IS NO LING HAIR BETWEEN ROES OR IN EARS?   BUT HIS COAT IS JUST LIKE YOUR IN THE PIC.

He could be ok then. My breader sold mine as a long coat but when I picked him up said that there was no hair between toes and he might not be a long coat. The hair did show in in the ears so unless that changes when he gets his adult coat I will have a long coat. It sounds like yours will have the softer coat that can turn out very beautiful but still be classified as regular coat. There was a beautiful dog at my breaders when I picked him up that wasn't related that had I guess what they call a show coat. Hopefully yours will turn out like this one. Do you have a picture?
