Harley

No offense, but if you went to a trial on L.I. yesterday, why are you asking us about helpers?  Why didn't you ask the people at the trial or the helpers at the trial themselves?

PSA?

No thanks. Its all three phases or nothing for me... and the dog better look good doing them, too.

Go to the PSA websight www.psak9.org

You will find a list of certified decoys and active clubs. There are a couple of clubs in the New York area. Greg Williams  I think is in Maryland. He is a very good trainer. Google Crab City K9. I think they are in Mass.

PSA clubs are usually very open, friendly, and encouraging. It is one of the things I like about the sport. Ask to go out to the club. If you still don't like them, look for someone else.

Don--PSA encourages bringing decoys in from outside areas so clubs are not trialing with their club decoys.

I must admit: the PSA group I visited was VERY friendly and welcoming... no snobs. I had a great time at Upper Bucks Working Dog with John and Melissa a couple of years back. Very nice folks.

If ONLY they were into Schutzhund sport!
