Blackwater Is Soaked

An arrogant attitude only adds fuel to the criticism,  Rod Nordland & Mark Hosenball | NEWSWEEK

Oct 15, 2007

The colonel was furious. "Can you believe it? They actually drew their weapons on U.S. soldiers." He was describing a 2006 car accident, in which an SUV full of Blackwater operatives had crashed into a U.S. ArmyHumvee on a street in Baghdad's Green Zone. The colonel, who was involved in a follow-up investigation and spoke on the condition he not be named, said the Blackwater guards disarmed the U.S. Army soldiers and made them lie on the ground at gunpoint until they could disentangle the SUV. His account was confirmed by the head of another private security company. Asked to address this and other allegations in this story, Blackwater spokesperson Anne Tyrrell said, "This type of gossip has led to many soap operas in the press."

Whatever else Blackwater is or isn't guilty of—a topic of intense interest in Washington—it has a well-earned reputation in Iraq for arrogance and high-handedness. Iraqis naturally have the most serious complaints; dozens have been killed by Blackwater operatives since the beginning of the war. But many American civilian and military officials in Iraq also have little sympathy for the private security company and its highly paid employees. With an uproar growing in Congress over Blackwater's alleged excesses, the North Carolina-based company is finding few supporters.

Responsible for guarding top U.S. officials in Iraq, Blackwater operatives are often accused of playing by their own rules. Unlike nearly everyone else who enters the Green Zone, said an American soldier who guards a gate, Blackwater gunmen refuse to stop and clear their weapons of live ammunition once inside. One military contractor, who spoke anonymously for fear of retribution in his industry, recounted the story of a Blackwater operative who answered a Marine officer's order to put his pistol on safety when entering a base post office by saying, "This is my safety," and wiggling his trigger finger in the air. "Their attitude was, 'We're f–––ing security; we don't have to answer to anybody'."

Blackwater armed & shot civilians in New Orleans and will do more of the same here,  under martial law.  Privatising a military is what crumbling empires do...ie Rome. And taxpayers pay 10xs cost for same job-protecting diplomats.   Regarding their "Professionalism", youre blowing smoke and you know it.  FBI is investigating them. Iraq wants them OUT, after murdering a Med student  his mother & others for Sport.Any other statements of wisdom, Kenny?

Who pays BlackWater?

by Uglydog on 19 October 2007 - 17:10

US Taxdollars & the Congress, which is allocating funds in the budget to pay this outfit & others, which our own Military can do 6xs less ie Protecting diplomats, but instead they answer to No one, literally.   Former X military, Rogue mercs, killers for hire, some are foreign in fact that make their own rules.. and this is the issue.

Same as Haliburton charging $28 for a 2nd helping of potatoes on a 2nd plate.  The money wasted there defies any logic.

I remember reading a Military news artical not long ago talking about this BlackWaters lead honcho mentioning he wanted to have the largest most professional private army in the world.   When I read that article I thought of this New World Order.

Our United States Constitution is going to be replaced one day ... I just know it. Bastards. This whole world power trip is BS if you care to know what I think. The sad thing .... if Americans act now on our Revolutionary Rights as stated in the 2nd ... we could wipe out all these Bastards in a week.

I agree 100%

"We will have a world government whether you like it or not. The only question is whether that government will be achieved by Conquest or Consent."

( Banker Paul Warburg, February 17, 1950, as he testified before the U.S. Senate).

The  Bankers & other Elitists seem to be behind this-Rothschilds, Oppenheimers, Warburgs. Creation of the UN, EU & NAFTA is really the writing on the wall....I get alot of info from these 2 sites & recommend them.

What the hell are we gonna do .... it's surely by conquest ... just like Islam is a Religion by conquest .. same ideal.

... it's like massive profit and corruption for the military officer corps, like hiding US Governments involvements in violation of sovereignty and the commitment of atrocities. Kinda like taking Politics outta war and making them personal. I guess killing is now slippin' into big corporation hands  ....  I wish Russia would have "we the people"(s) backs on the demise of the NWO .. that in it's self would bring mass peace to the world ... and scare the hell outa terrorists lookin' on for future attacks. Forget the different governments running countries .... if all "we the people" would get together and revolt simultaneously around the world .... even that would bring mass peace on earth. At least it would be something positive, instead of an empire that worships private capitalism and profit ... and it would be FREE !!

Ok, I'm going overboard .. just a thought.

well first off the heading say's ''aegis security'' ! also like i said i'm not defending any of them!  in iraq different people react differently  to whatever situation is at hand. like the 2 KBR truck drivers killed by the gate guards! i know first hand what happened, i was on the base, talked to their friends and had previously provided security for these same drivers! they were shot and killed by american soldiers because '' they thought it could be a car bomb''!

like i said you can fire all of them, give us a bonus and i'll gladly do their job! you wanna talk waste , i can talk for hours about the waste of the govt. in iraq! i have seen and dealt with it first hand. noone in a higher command position want's to hear about it. i would say because they have their hand in it somewhere. it's all about the mighty $$$$$ .

i'm just a pawn in this game. i do grunt work. i take orders and execute them! legal ones anyway's.  you are the ones with the power! you all vote and can call your congressman or state rep. and let them know how you feel! it's your tax dollars paying blackwater, kbr, and every other free enterprise company with their hand in the war.  security contractors do make far more than i do! do i agree with it??? there are reasons for a yes and no on that. but that's not what i'm here for. if you all would like to talk politics or anything else we can all sign on to yahoo messenger and do a conference chat . i will be glad to tell you all the stories you want to hear. but till then how about we discuss dogs on here , i mean you can bash mine all day i don't care anymore. your all free ''for now anyway's''. so how bout it. can we talk dogs? i need to learn way way more about them than the war in iraq and would prefer to learn about dogs and training anyways.

sincerely kenny

Ya sorry, I was just going with the flow.

Kenny

I respect you more after your post. My buddy did 3 tours and is done now.  He voted for Kerry in 2004, wont talk much so we dont, but I have a pretty deep perspective on it.  We told our COngress Last November what we wnated them to do, they betray us. IMO, we need another Boston Tea Party. They are OWNED, all of them ,except Gravel & Ron Paul.  The others arePimps & Wimps.  Republican/Democrat makes little difference. 2 cheeks of the same ass. Owned by the same lobby AIPAC.  To all, I suggest turning off your TVs, it is pure propoganda & nonsense. Ive not watched in over 3 years and I see the world now more clearly than ever.

Babyeagle..Some of what you say makes great sense. Ultimately the Russians may just restore this whole thing as we are now demoralized, over spent, over exhausted & broken down militarily. Losing 2 wars on 2 fronts.

Russia nor Iran have any IMF World Bank loans, are rich in resources and are Not part of the NWO. Russia has seen who the enemy is for 70 years, theyve exported them to Israel.  50 Million christians were killed in Russia during the Communist Regime.  Putin is a wise man, skilled X KGB and is on high alert.   So geo-politically, this gets very interesting. I have 3 young boys and I am scared to death of the future for them, I dont believe in this pre emptive war on lies, the cause (Israel) or the administration that is so corrupt it is contemptible.

Lets talk later, Im off to drink some beer.

uglydog,

glad to have earned some respect here. mama didn't raise no fool trust me, there is a reason i'm still here after doing 2 tours over there! if something doesn't ''feel right'' it isn't!  i don't vote because one side is no better than the other!  everyone has their ''agenda'' and none of them likely fit with mine!

animules , been home right at a month now and all is going well. now i'm waiting on the army to tell me when i'm moving, and yes i will be talking to you and attending some club training. actually going to get to do some this week here! wooo hoooo. i can't wait. it's all gravy now. should have atleast 24mo before another deployment which is alot of training time. i may email you in the next few weeks after i find out what is going on and a time frame for my move.
