Ok, is it a minimum 15 months of age to get BH? I do believe it's 16 months For AD. What do you all suggest as for the AD, is 16 months to young?

Personally, I would wait a little longer than 16 months but it really depends on the overall health and condition your dog is in. Here is a good article I found awhile back on the AD and conditioning for it.

That is a good article. Don't know if many people know this but a dog that has the HGH (Herding Utility Dog) is not required to have an AD to enter a breed survey.

I did my male Magic at 18 months for his AD, BUT he was already 'a' and 'z' stamped and he is a VERY athletic dog, after the AD he was ready to go again, didnt even act like he was tired. I wouldnt do a dog until they were already xrayed and are in good health and shape. I was going to trial for his BH this past weekend, but had to pull him due to an injury, so we will go again in the spring.
