I have been away for the past week, so I have not been able to answer emails nor monitor the message board. I will be back during/after the weekend.
I have been in Israel for a business meeting.
It was very nice to visit the Old Jerusalem and see the Western Wall and walk the Via Delarosa. See the Curch of Holy Sepulcher and much much more.
What a truly amazing place this is.

Oli,
Welcome back, you haven't missed much here.
Two questions. First off, I would love to hear about Jerusalem. My wife and I are debating on going either Europe or Jerusalem.
Second, a few weeks ago you posted that we ( those on this board ) could email others when it involved a two way conversation that didn't need to be read by everyone on hear, especially when it was personal stuff. I believe you said it could be done threw the site so as not to give up ones E-mail address to the world. Did I understand this right ? If I did then would you be so kind as to explain that to this computer illiterate person. Thanks

Yellow,
Thanks for the help. I will give this a try. Darn new fangled stuff! I asked my wife what we did before computers and Cell phones and her answer is " we were organized ".
Agree, it must be quite an experience to go to the Holy Land. Must be humbling. Thanks again

Hi all,
I am finally back to Iceland now, and went straight into deleting posts.
Been a rough trip back home. Israeli Airport (Ben Gurion) security borders on the ridiculus (speaking as a Nordic lad that is used to Northern Europe's (lack of) security). Four Hours in a queue, three extensive security searches.
It was an experience to visit the holy land. See the historic sites with my own eyes. Walk the steps of Jesus. See King david's old city. The holy Sepulcher.
Dome of the rock: Al-Aqsa Mosque. Then to walk through the Christian Quarter, Jewish Quarter and Moslim Quarter.
To view the holy city from the Mount of Olives, there is a very beautifull plaza to view the holy city there. Said to be the same spot where jesus did his teachings and prophesising.
I will write more later, (still getting settled in, just woke after a good nights sleep. (before that awake for 36 hours travelling).
But I would definetly encourage people to go visit the holy land. Its very safe, I only saw armed soldiers around the entrance to the Western Wall (Wailing wall) .
And with a good guide its a trip to cherish in your heart.
