Ok, well, My male Duke, which isn't our future, our females are, is free to a good home. You CAN NOT have livestock, especially sheep! He has started killing sheep within the last couple weeks, so he needs to go ASAP! He's not some high drive dog that comes from great pedigree. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/509728.html . He is a tremendous dog that is a very very loyal companion. He gets along with dogs that he knows very well, however he is very jealous. He expects all of your attention. He will stay by you side at all times. He's had virtually no training because of our females, but he will make a good family pet. If you are interested let me know ASAP and i can send a pic. He is a LARGE BLK/TAN. We are located in Kansas, but will be in Northern Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa within next week. Also close to Nebraska.
Thank you
Tyler Thomas

Tyler, after reading your blog about your dog I personally would not put him in a "family " home with small children. Some dogs see children as 2 legged animals and this would be a horror story waiting to happen. Killing any animal is a high risk animal reguardless how great of a pet it is.
It also sounds like he has issues with other dogs and I would be concerned about putting him in a home with small dogs or other dogs for that matter.
I wish you luck on finding him the perfect home.
Ps be sure to let the new owners know about all his issues so they do not come back on you . (my sister had that happen to her) .

EKvonEarnhardt I see your points, I guess I never looked at it like that. We have a 7 year old whom he worships, plus my 5 year old brother in-law who is around all of the time. As far as dogs...small dogs he just ignores and pays no attention to, but larger dogs that he doen't know, don't fly to well, he's gotta prove that he's the alpha male. Anyway, good points and thank you. Now my wife is begging me to keep him, so.... I don't know what to do yet.
