Thank you so much! Words cannot express our joy. To have our Teejay make USA and North American Sieger at 3 yrs of age is a dream come true. I am just arriving home and will need time to thank everyone that contributed to this great showing. I would like to congratulate the other VA's as well in the meantime, including VA Hoss v Hirmer Teich owned by my dear friends Jochen and Cynthia in North Carolina and Matscho Zellwaldrand, owned by Kim Cote of Canada. We should all be proud that besides Teejay, THREE other American-bred males made the illustrious VA title. Hats off to Rachel Salerno, Michael and Jeanette Kempkes, and Gayle and John Kirkwood. What a statement for the direction of our breed. Of course, none of this would be possible without the NASS committee, headed by Danny Spreitler, putting on such a great event. Heartfelt thanks- JOHN E HENKEL

My congratulations as well. Tee Jay is simply a drop dead gorgeous dog, presented a fantastic progeny group, clearly displaying his ability to pass on hiw quality to his progeny. Hoss and Liedo fought hard, a strong second and third, also presenting very impressive progeny groups. I was thrilled to see so many US bred dogs do so well at this event, heartwarmed at the judges comments. This country is finally, clearly coming of age as far as breeding fine dogs. The honors were hard-earned and well -deserved!
Hats off!
