LOVE that shot!

Behind the handlers left leg I presume.  Do you think that someone just pinched this dogs ear or flank, and then stepped back quick?  I think so.  He is too "hot" for just a command.  That mouth is impressive though.  Too bad it is not a direct, facing shot, but is angled.  Nice looking dog, like you said though.

(ps no flanking or pinching allowed)

It's just a great shot of a typical working line dog, no pincing, no flanking needed at all!  Just show them a sleeve or crack a whip & that's what happens. I want to know if you need a special type of camera to get such a super picture?  One things for sure, my crappy little camera wouldn't do it.  You click the button & the damn thing is so delayed you get a picture of what the dog did 5 minutes later.

Just to note the top picture is not my dog just saw it in a ad and was wondering where the 4th leg was  (it is a boring day)lol

now the other one is of mine (Hanibal) and yes show him a decoyer and  get ready to rumble ( he he )

Sueincc do you really want to know how to get great pictures? Most camras now day have a pause/hold  in the botton but not too many people know about holding it half way down and right when you want the picture push the rest of the way down. It is faster at taking the shot.  Get a feel for it and practice. I know my camra now and get great pictures all the time

Thanks, I'll try it.   By the way, love your dogs' smiling "action" shots too!!

Unless the fireman came to the door with a sleeve, not too much to worry about.
