Just wondering where Ursus lives and if there is any way I can find out more about him.He is Nenz's dad. Nenz is such a sweet boy. Does anyone else on here have an Ursus son or daughter?

Ilove ... Ursus is with his owner Hans Jurgen Wohlrab in Germany, he was VA 1 2000. I have imported 2 of his grandsons for some people and they have done very well in the obedience trials here. You can take a look at his homepage at www.beepworld.de/members54/vonbatu/  regards  Vom Brunhaus

Henry page through this thread if you want to see some pictures. Just over half way is a picture of my Ursus grandson and right after that Louise Penery posted a picture of her direct son. Check the resemblence out. They look like brothers.

If you search under Nenz vom Klebinger Schlo there he is. He was registered while he was still in Germany. I got him for free from vom Haus Miller German Shepherds. Was told the Germans were dishonest about him when they shipped him after they agreed to sell him for them. Connie Miller told me when I got him that he had pain in his hips and to give him aspirin every day to help. Steve Miller told my friend who called about him that he no longer had the proper drive in the rear for the show ring. Vet says it's dysplasia.  We drove six hours to get him after I fell in love with his picture. He walked into my life and my heart with a wagging tail and slobbery kisses on my hand, like hey, I've  been waiting for you.........I got him in July 2006 and heard he was there about a year. Connie said he had never been around small kids, and to be careful. My daughter was then 4. She sat on him the first night at home. He stood up and she slid down his back. Wheeeeeeee, she said. A slide. That was fun! Then my boyfriend's cat beat him up and still doesn't like him while the other two like him, one of them greets Nenz first before us after he comes in from being gone all day! He guards the house and yard with a vengeance although any small child can walk right up to him anytime and sit on him (neighbor girl did). I trained him as my Psychiatric Service Dog but since I wanted a dog that could run, pack, and pull, I bought Spunky (Zippy vom Haus Miller). She is a Yasko granddaughter and Nenz's grandniece. I am very pleased with both wonderful dogs. His hips aren't too bad, vet said no more than 2 miles a day walking. He can still play with Spunky and growl at intruders. He takes good care of me at night and now I am taking care of his hot spots! I was told when I got him there was a time when they wanted $8,000 for him. Locals are stunned I got such a gorgeous dog for free. Many think all German Shepherds have dysplasia. He is my big sweet boy and I thank God every day for him............especially at night when he growls at possible would-be troublemakers. 3 days after I got him I was getting compliments on his being well-trained and people were so surprised when I said I just got him and he came that way.

Henry, a more current picure of Nenz can be seen by going to http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction-user.viewprofile&friendID=243099852 . There is a large picture of my friend's black puppy with a play button in the middle of the picture. Most animals on the clip belong to my friends who run SASS Service Animal Support Service. Nenz's picture with reflecting eyes (not great) briefly appears with the words, he needs surgery to take away his pain. Spunky's floppy eared 2 month old baby pictures appear twice, one saying, it's hard to keep a service vest that fits when you're still growing. She is now my psychiatric service dog in training ( I have anxiety and bipolar disorder). I have four different vests I have used on her and don't need help finanacially but I don't mind them using her pictures. I don't have money for hip surgery for Nenz. Who knows maybe someone will donate something for him.......

Sorry I had to look this one up or I would have put it on last time. I don't know how to put pictures on. My friend did for me when I was at her house a couple months ago. These are the most recent and are on here at http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/120210.html#120686.

vom Brunhaus, thanks for the info. I wish I could understand German. Is there anyone who could translate? I see he's with kids in the picture. I just want to find out what his personality is like.
