Based on what I can read on the web site, it looks pretty good. The protein and fat levels seem quite sensible, and it is hard to find fat levels of 18%. I imagine this is very palatable. If your dogs like it, and don't get fat on it, it seems like a good bet for awhile.

I just order two bags of this it should be in Monday. I have been feeding canidae and was going to put my new workingline puppy on timberwolf ocean blue, but ihave to drive an hour to get those. I was in the place I used to get my dog food and he told me about this but it too pricey to carry in his store so i special ordered a bag of pacific stream and one of the buffalo and venison. Ill keep you posted.

Never heard of it til now but the ingredients look pretty great! I may try it one day myself! For puppies, I really like Innova Puppy and Canine Caviar. Innova can really put the weight on though so be careful to not overfeed to protect their joints. I have never used timberwolf but heard a lot about it from my friends that it is great....I used to swear by solid gold until I found better (Canine Caviar and Innova) IMO. Good luck and keep us posted! :)

I will bet you it is made by DIAMOND, www.diamondpetfood.com They are in Meta, Mo and it's the same type of website design. they make alot of food including Timberwolf Organics. They are really a good company. I too use naturapet products (Innova's makers).

Diamond makes Timberwolf? I did not know that. I use and like Diamond Naturals.

I did a little investigating and found this on the Timberwolf website:
Is Timberwolf Organics, Inc. owned by Diamond Pet Foods, Inc.?
No. We are a private, independently owned company. At one time, Diamond Pet Foods manufactured our food; however, we have moved production to another facility owned by another company (we cannot give this information out, as it is proprietary). They specialize in manufacturing specialty formulas of pet foods and meet our high standards for exceptional quality production.
We are certain that Diamond Pet Foods, Inc. is a fine company, but to answer the above question, we have no business affiliation with them.
I'd love to know which company is producing their food for them now.

How do companies get by without telling the public , if they ask, who is manufacturing their dog food , that we are putting in the mouths of our kids.???? Until they tell me , I wouldnt buy it.....Probablly a Chineese company or the one that just had 10 ,million recalls...
I guess you could email Diamond and ask them if they make it, and if no ,ask them who is the manufacturor now....
Might work????

Hi everyone,as far as I know,Timberwolf is now made in New York somewhere. Why in the world would that be proprietary is beyond me.I just took my boys OFF IT and so did other friends of mine.I beleive they have changed something in the Ocean Blue also BUT good luck trying to get any info off them as i have spent money on phonecalls(NO 1800 #)and tried several times by e-mail and the second you ask an important question there HACKELS go up and you get that good old "its proprietary"BS

I'll stick with Canine Caviar for most of ours.
