hello group,
i have come across a sad situation. my brother was out playing ball with his 7 year old shepherd and everything was just great. the next morning, the dog was having trouble breathing, so my brother went upstairs to grab his truck keys, came down to take the dog to the vet, and that quick, he was dead. we think it was a stroke, but not sure. he was only 6 years old. no, i am not new to this board, just haven`t posted in quite sometime, so please don`t think i`m here for some crap like other people. this dog was very, very close to my brother. and he`s taking it very hard. i want to try to find him a showline puppy, or young adult. this dog will be around other dogs, but will be strickly a family pet. i`m asking any of you if you are over-loaded, or maybe have a good dog, possibly one that only 1 testicle descended. i`m just trying to find my brother another best friend. we have owned shepherd`s our entire lives, so we are very familiar with the breed. can any one help me out here. i`m not looking to spend thousands of dollars, but i also am not looking for a handout either. just a good showline g.s., that my brother can raise and train basic obedience, and have a buddy again. please let me know if any of you might have what i am looking for. thank you all so much. i am looking for a male . toby, my brother`s dog, was only 6 years old. man, that`s too young for this to happen. just doesn`t seem right

I am sure that mentioning the dog that died was six and seven is just a small error. So I will not be suspicious.
What state are you (or your brother) located in. If you are close to me, and you can provide the name of your brother, your brothers deceased dog, the vet that normally treated that dog and the vet's name and phone number, I can POSSIBLY (depending on what I find out from the vet and where you are located) get your brother a male showline pup of excellent parentage and lines.. Do not post the info here, but rather, send it in an email to conditionfreak@wmconnect.com
I am sorry for your brothers loss.

You could also contact some GSD Rescue groups. The groups take in dogs, get them properly Vetted, evaluate them, check how they do with other dogs and kids and some even have cats in their foster homes. Depending on where you are located I could give you some Resuce links to check.
Nothing against you "Do right", just posting another option.
