Hello everyone,

I am a nervous wreck right now because my girl is going for her hip xrays. I waited two months after her last cycle and I have been supplementing her with 1000mg of Ester C. Her appointment is not until Monday but I was wondering how can one tell if the positioning of the dogs hips were done wrong? Also if the dog is positioned wrong can the grade tell and give a score based on poor position?

Here is an excellent article about what to look for when viewing x-rays and telling if it's positioned correctly

I had not heard about the Ester-C supplementation-is that a good idea?  I will be having my girl's xrays redone after her next heat to try to better her OFA.  The original xrays were not positioned correctly, and she was in heat at the time.  Good luck to both of you!!!

Beware, 80% of the world's vitamin C is made in China!

If you buy american made products you wouldnt have to worry    Amway and Shaklee are made here in the usa

and you use   Ester c not vitaming C    and the best way to get most of the natural vitamin c    not chemical vit c and there is a difference.......is from raw meat

still use lots of Ester C    but you can order from  online places  the natural C   and Ester C...

yOU HAVAE TO TAKE THE VITAMIN C ESTER ONLY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS  LIKE AT LEAST 6 MOS AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVING THE MOM AND THE PUP BEFORE BIRTH AND AFTER WEANED FROM THE DAY ONE OF EATING FOOD...

IT IS NOT AN INSTANT CURE...IT MAKES THE COLLAGEN  HAVE LAXITATY AND HELPS FORM THE COLLAGEN AND KEEP IT SOFT  ......BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE WAY IN ADVANCE....NOT OVERNIGHT....YOU CAN START NOW AND IN A YEAR DO ANOTHER X-RAY AND HOPE GOOD LOOK IS STILL THERE.....STUDY THE RESEARCH THRU  ofa SITE
