So please, as soon as you receive the Money Order OR Certified Check, go and cash them immediately, deduct the money that accrues to you, and send the balance to the Head Office of the company that handles the shipment in NEW YORK via the nearest Moneygramm orWestern Union agent in your area. Deduct the Moneygramm or Western Union charges from the balance and send the remaining to NEW YORK immediately .The Money Order OR Certified Check will be in your name to make it easier for you to receive payment, deduct your money and send the balance Via Moneygramm or Western Union as regards my earlier direction, please reconfirm your details one more time.I will give you the details of the company that you will send the balance of the money to in NEW YORK once I get a reply and agreement that you will send the money to NEW YORK Via Moneygramm or Western Union money transfer immediately you cash the Money Order OR Certified Check.Once the money is received by the agent in NEW YORK , the shipping agent will contact you immediately to arrange the documentation as well as the pick up the pup immediately. So in view of the above, here are some of the details I will need for final issuance of the USPS Money Order OR Certified Check to You.

This is the second in two week period , that this lady received....
She received an email from a Mike Douglas identical to this one....the email address from that one was mikeddl@gmail,com
The bank kept the Mo Orders and turned them over to VIsa....the police depts have nothing to do with these scms they dont know where to look , its a federal interstate felony....they said they would be in touch with her if they need further info...
Unbelievable people do this...to unsuspecting older citizens .

It's a common scam the Nigerians use. They actually teach them in classes how to do it.

One of the oldest scams around, and I've received many of these emails. I used to tell them payment could only be made by wire transfer directly to my bank, or by Western Union. Then I started asking what they wanted a puppy for, what sex, what color, what bloodlines, how they found my kennel, and why they chose me, etc. Usually this ends the volley, because they won't waste time keeping you on the hook if you ask a million questions. But now I just email these people directly back and tell them to take their scams elsewhere, or just delete them if I don't have time to screw with it.
Two basic rules of thumb : 1) Anytime they want to send money for more than the designated amount, it's a scam. 2) Anytime they have a designated "agent" to pick up the puppy for them, it's a scam.

there are different variations; i've gotten a few lately with the man or woman, stressing that they are CHRISTIAN, need someone to deposit a check ,etc, etc. they're always be "too good to be true" type offers. i'll give you $$$ for holding onto $$$$$$$$ for me sort of things. we have to educate ourselves and our older (usually) family members or friends who might fall for these scams. its unfortunate that people continue to receive and fall for these scams. i think there are some variations offering purebred pups or dogs too. let the buyer beware.

I have received these scams quite a few times, their is a link my friend sent me for internet consumer complaints. "IC3 Complaint Referral "
From now on I reply to scammers by sending this link, and I never here from them again.

I don't ship my puppies, even if you do get your money,
have you personally met the people who are going to
take care of your pup?
I have gotten at least 3 of these e-mails.
But that's me...............

people still fall for these??????
by Ranchinglady on 03 October 2007 - 01:10
Hard to imagine, isn't it, animules? The wording just reeks of the scams that have circulated for the past several years.
