I have been busy reading more message threads today and I am so pissed off about it!!!  These people that just make up a pedigree and papers for dogs are the lowest of the low crap ever alive today!  I caught a bitch with false papers and pedigree last week.  She is a sable that her papers state is out of 2 black and tans.  Wonderful breeding and pedigree if it were only hers!  That breeder did call the AKC to have those false papers on this bitch cancelled today.  He figured out who did it and I am anxiously waiting on his reply to me on what he has done so far with this.  This happens more often that people think that it does.  I think that it would be a very good idea to have a list of bad breeders and the actual names of scammers that have put false papers and pedigrees on dogs, somewhere on this site.

Why DNA is a good thing......

Most stud dogs are DNA'ed, I'm in the process of having all my dogs male or female
DNA'ed, also I'm going to take a go at puppies too.

Now that you can register the whole litter and name everyone individually
doesn't that make sense, DNA does not change.

But paperwork can...............

Exactly. I'm so glad I spotted one of those false adds. Azia v. Tiekerhook. Yeah right.

But you're right! It really does get me so angry that anyone would sink so low and do something that dimwitted.

Thats not the first nor will it be the last  .  That person doesnt dna , doesnt ofa, doesnt honor contracts, and is hiding ....from the law....

There are two puppies out there somewhere and they are black /red female and blk /red male

and the person in this question , took them and never paid for them,,and did the same thing Reagae, stated  cussed her out, use three hundred excuses,,told her he was a new breeder...........hahaha.......but had already told everyone else  in the state of Texas  he worked with BILL Fleishercheim in Pa , and was a trainer with him,,,,hog wash.....I called Bill, myself, and he said no , he did not....

But he duped this couple out of two pups, and the fact that he would , not and will not answer  phone calls, nor emails, nor certified letters from this couple who have a small kennel in South Texas,   got him a charge of theft against him and the warrant is in the hands of the Polk County Constable to find him........A

Anyone knowing where to find him ,can call the sheriff dept at Polk Co. and let them know,,,,,,,,this is how the dog world will get rid of some,,,,,,,some of the crooked paper work and stiffing of innocent nieve people    , that get the socks beat off of them......

He tried it with me,,,,and Im standing in the waiting room , right now , along with the owner of a discount feed store in Longview, Texas , and several others.....

Here is the post link to the little boy pup, out of Kounty Kennels that they are looking for......this person submitted the dog and not the owners of the kennel.....the pups registration papers are still with the breeder.......Akc is helping, but they dont do much to help...they cant....they dont know where the pup is...not their job to find it....Will Post in the next box....running out of room  and need to copy and paste.....

Just when you think you've seen everything, AKC announces it will register "purebred" dogs with unknown ancestors!

http://www.akc.org/reg/conditional_reg_info.cfm

[What is a Conditional Registration and Pedigree?
When unknown parentage is indicated via DNA testing, the status of the registration will be downgraded to “conditional” until a three generation pedigree is established.   “Unknown” will be noted on the registration or pedigree for the ancestor in question. This will only occur in cases where the dogs are believed to be purebred, but a registered parent is found to be incorrect.

The documents will have a different colored border and will be clearly labeled as Conditional.  Also, a new registration number will be issued so that people familiar with AKC registration numbers can tell at a glance that the registration is different.  For example, a dog initially registered as TN123456/01 would be registered with Conditional registration as QT123456/01.  Thus, these dogs will be clearly noted as Conditional by their registration number, similar to the ‘Z’ used in the registration number for descendants of white Doberman Pinschers. In addition, the word “Conditional” will be boldly stated on the registration certificate which will have a yellow border (compared to purple for standard registrations or orange for limited).

Why is this measure being adopted?
AKC continues to collect a rapidly growing number of DNA samples. By the close of 2006, the AKC had more than 425,000 DNA profiles from 196 AKC and FSS breeds in its database.

With our Frequently Used Sires requirement, many dogs are DNA profiled when they are three or four years old and have sired seven or more litters.  AKC evaluates their parentage, and if incorrect parentage is found, it is sometimes not possible to determine the correct parentage of the litter because a potential sire is deceased or unable to be located. Currently, in these cases the registrations of the litter and its members and their offspring are canceled.  A single case of an unknown sire can result in the cancellation of hundreds of AKC registrations.  The negative reaction, especially from owners who registered their dog with AKC only to later have it canceled, is very damaging to AKC’s image.]

Sounds like a crock to me. It's all about trying to recoup some of the money they are losing to these splinter registries like the American Purebred Registry.
