Hmmmm!
I swear I have seen a picture of that dog on another ad, as I was browsing through. Perhaps they bought her and decided to resell? On the other ad, she definitely was not nearly $4,000!

I find it strange that the dog azia v Tiekerhook is the litter mate to three other dogs with not Tiekerhook names....
Jessie vom Vielenbache listed twice and another dog a male...whose pic is on the database...
the birthdate is on the vom Billheim dog and that dog has been bred and lists progheny....
Does the Owner of Tiekerhook give you permission to name your dog his name of his kennel....?

All i'm saying is it's a little fishy.
and no need to get snippy, Yellowrose. But admit it. It's suspicious, especially because a few of us have seen her about the ads section, and I haven't heard many nice things about Tiekerhook..

by MygsdRebel on 30 September 2007 - 00:09
X that. I meant, I have heard alot of complaints about false ads, scams, etc. I can't type if i'm thinking about something else. xD

MygsdRebel: I wasnt being snippy I was talking to gsdlovr2 ....and she knows what i meant I emailed you....I was giving her the clue.....not you .......sorry about tht....thank you for this post......
Thats why I ask why is she 3,900.00 and then I looked at siblings.. I guess she came from the Tiekerhook kennel and the others didnt.

I find that very often with the dogs who come through my rescue program. I take a quick glance at the pedigrees and think wow, something to investigate, this dog is well bred. No, usually it is that the pupp was sold as a pet and the people used a name within the pedigree. i am not saying that is the case for this particular dog as I do not know the story with her but I do come acrossed the improper names often. I was told by AKC many years ago that if the particular breeder is not a registered AKC Kennel than there is no ban in using the name. Most German breeders of course, would not be an AKC Registered Kennel.
Just my two cents
