He just snagged my eye, what a handsome guy!

Looks like he was well taken care of. Hope he finds a home.

Please be kind I am prett y new to this board
Yes he is very handsome.
I have a couple of question however:
Does he not need to be neutered?
Can you do Schutzhund with an altered dog?
Is he in essence not a "pet"?
Is $1,000.00 just a little steep?
Can someone who knows a lot more then me give their thought on this?
But yes, he is a very handsome dog

You can get fairly good quality BREEDABLE GSD's for 1,000. Asking that much for a pet IS INDEED too much money! I paid a little over $1,000 for my GSD bitch, who is a granddaughter of Ursus von Batu. I was also considering purchasing her half-brother, who was a monorchid. He was being sold for $600.

...He's not my boy so I can't answer any particulars about wether he will be altered or not, but as far as I'm aware any dog with the proper drives can do schutzhund irregardless of whether it's been fixed or not.
As to the price, for a well bred, healthy young adult dog with some training already under him, I would consider his asking price very reasonable. There are pups priced three times as what this seller is asking.
*Caveat emptor: I do not know this person, so be certain to contact them directly for more information.

Sunsilver,
As per usual, your advice is perfect and you are right on Spot!

I just noticed, this really freaks me out:
His Great-Grandfather is Rikkor von Bad Boll
Rikkor von Bad Boll is also the Great Grandfather to my 13 month old Duke.
I paid $600.00 for my Dukie (and yes he has "full" equiptment ). No, I am not even thinking about breeding, I leave that to the experts.
I soooo want that dog, but $1,000 is just way to steep, besides Hubby would kill me, but I could talk him into it before he would actually do
it

Okay, I missed that he was started in Schutzhund. Yes, that would make him worth a little more.
Personally, however, I don't like his looks. Yeah, the shoe was on the other foot last week, when I posted a pic of a male I liked, but others didn't.... It's his hind legs that turn me off. His hocks look weak, and though it just might be the camera angle, that hind foot looks unusually small.
But YMMV (your mileage may vary) as they say! It would be a dull, dull world if we all liked the same thing! And of course, pedigree, temperment, movement, etc. all have to be considered.

Please endulge me a little longer, what do you think of his pedigree?
Also, since I am involved in Competetive Obedience (Just put a CD on My Kati, training for CDX now) what is "started in Schutzhund" exactly??
If the dog is already started should he not have his BH?
Thanks for explaining - I am really a Newby when it comes to Schutzhund
