I need some help finding a new tatoo machine. If you know any websites saling tatoo machines, please tell me. I would appreciate some opinios of your experience. Thanks

I've always been curious about how pups ears are tattooed...are they put to sleep for the proceedure?

I have seen them at Tractor supply too. if you need one right now you can go there, they are for goats, they also sell the ink.

There are 2 main types of tattooing... the tattoo gun, and the tattoo clamp. i personally use the clamp because its just plain easier. its not very easy to try to hold a dog or puppy still while a tattoo gun is buzzing loudly in his/her ear. mine arent knocked out. i just roll on some ink, clamp the ear, and roll another coat of ink on. very simple , and very effective.

So is it the clamp that makes small punctures in the ear, and then rolling the ink over the ear colors the punctures?

Jefferspets.com sells a kit for rabbgits which can be used on puppies. It is a lot lot cheaper than Leerburg.s, It also com es with instructions and you can call the people--they are very nice and helpful. No the pups are not sedated.
