i have been feeding my dog royal canin and i have been finding that my dog's stool are a little
soft, coat looks awesome ..... a friend of my switched to eagle pack and told me that he was finding that his male would go too the bathroom three times a day and know that he has switched to eagle pack he finds the dog only goes twice a day and stooles are firm
so my question is is eagle pack better then royal canin

My dog is on the Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken and the stools are firm and he goes 2x a day. Every dog is different when it comes to food.

After almost 3 months of feeding Blitz EVO and cleaning up pudding-like stools, he's back on RC and I'm back to using a rake instead of a shovel and hose to clean the yard. Try cutting back a bit on the quantity; many dogs will have loose stools from too much of even a good thing and he should still mantain his weight.

my male is now 10 months he is eating about 3 cups a day and he is about 82lbs
he is not overweight and is active but like i said his stooles are very soft for the most part
i have always fed royal canin with my others shpherds in the past with no problems
i'am just wondering that maybe for some reason this food might not be working for him
