my 10.5 months male dont lift up his leg while peeing, is it normal?

by Rezkat5 on 22 September 2007 - 01:09
My boy didn't lift his leg until after a year old. Sometimes it can take a little bit. And don't be surprised if he's a bit of a spaz about it at first either!

lol...i was just thinkin i had to pee bad...(damn beer) -- then this popped up...
I dread when boss starts lifting his leg...thats when everyone will start complaing, hey your dog is peeing on my tires!...ughh, like the tires don't drive thro mudholes-road kill--and who knows what else.....enjoy the fresh tires and no complaining while you can...

My 3 year old male still pees like a girl most of the time unless there is another male around. Then he's lifting his leg on everything in the backyard including the lawn furniture.

My boy seems to pee forevvver... sometimes he gets so tired of holding his leg up that he props the leg against the tree - it is hilarious! - really want to get a picture of it....never right place - right time.

I've seen that myself with a young male, even with an older one around to give an example. It will eventually happen-don't give up. When it does you may wish for those days of yore when every vertical object was not stained with piss.

My boy is 2 yrs. on the 28th & in the morning he runs out in the yard, gets far enough away from the house,
stands in a long stretched out stance, and springs a leak, it's pretty funny looking.
When Theo was younger, he was just hanging out having the run of the house,
& I looked over at him, and he was starting to lift his leg to pee on a chair,
I yelled so loud at him, threw a big fit, and he never tried to do that again!
Now he doesn't like us watching him go. Thinks he's in trouble or something.
