MY DOG IS 6 MONTH OLD ,SHOULD I START WITH HIS PRACTICE.

I start at 3 mon old,I use a bike horn to catch its attention, andgive it some meat, repeat several time,it will chase the horn to get meat,is it a correct method?

i also started ring training when my pup was 3 months old.
1) the pup should be attached to you
2) have someone hold her one the leash
3) be ahead of the dog call the dog and and the dog begins to come to you start moving away
4) after a couple of rounds have the dog release and let it run to you then praise the dog
