A long time ago, My ex and his cousin had gone to the local drinking establishment, they had
my all black GSD Bruiser, and his brother Benjamin, The dogs ended up running off together.

The ex & his cousin were going tuna fishing the next morning, so they couldn't look for the dogs,
cause they needed to go home & sleep.

The next morning, crack of dawn, they came across a dog that had been hit by a car and was killed.

It was a pure black male with a white flea collar on, that matched Bruiser's description.
So they picked him up and put him in the truck, mind you they were headed out to go tuna
fishing.

The ex called me , he's like, we found Bruiser, he got hit by a car, I'm bringing him home, and putting
him in the garage.

It was a Sunday morning, and back then we always went to church.

The kids & I  went to church that morning and lit candles for Bruiser, and prayed.

Then we came home and sat around & prayed some more.

We got the neighbor boy accross the st. to dig a hole in the back yard, he dug a six
foot deep hole, quite impressive!

The children, the neighbor boy, (wheel barrow in tow,) and I went out to the garage.
slowly I uncovered his head, I noticed the white flea collar and a blue collar.  His ears
were down, but I thought that was from being hit by the car.

That was Bruiser alright...

I decided I couldn't look at his face, so, I started to uncover his back legs...
wait a minute, this dog was neutered, Bruiser was intact.

Come to find out, that dog was a rescue from the shelter, a man had recently aqquired.

Bruiser & his Bro were found that day raising havoc, at the local establishment!

JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU THE POWER OF PRAYER!

(I'm sorry this is so long, I did actually shorten it!)

I could not go to sleep if my dog/s were running loose, no matter what I had to do the next morning.

I wonder if the guy who owned the dead dog, prayed also?

I'm glad that it wasn't your dog.  I guess?  Oh heck.....I'm digging myself in a hole so I'll quit now.

No, I hear you, why do you think he's my ex!

Don't get me started................

And that's another story, when I had to explain to the man that his deceased dog was in my garage.

Life is GOOOOOOOD now!

I'm glad you dumped him.  My (and your) dogs are more important than a fishing expedition.

I bet you had some splaining to do about that guys dog in your garage, dead.

OK Rickey, that's enough!

A BIG THANX!       Do right and fear no one,

Imagine, my ex & his stupid cousin both own all black gsd's
but are too dumb to realize that the dead dog was a Labrador Retriever!!!

Oh Oh!  Here I go again, don't get me going!!!!!!!

Oh no!  I feel like Rosie O'Donnell!  Look out Donald!!!!!!!!

No---- No------ I'm ok now!   (I want to throw in some icons)
