This puppy ended up at a vet clinic in Iowa in  this condition to be euthed because she was vicious. Someone is rescue took her home with permission from previous owners and rehabbed her as they didn't feel she was vicious, she's a puppy that was treated badly. She looks like a fairly decent bred working line GSD.

Before...

This is after a week of being fed often...

The lady that has her is going to keep her forever BUT I was curious if this puppy was sold by a breeder to a less than honest person. I just think it is wrong when people don't even make an attempt to find a breeder especially in a case like this. Sometimes breeders lose contact with someone and then has no idea what is going on with their puppy.

I found the name of the breeder and am going to e-mail them as something doesn't jive right.
Here are a couple more pics of their puppies from this litter that the above bitch is from that look a little wonky to me...

The top one, from waht I can tell looks to have a skin condition(it might be my computer screen) can anyone else see it better. The bottom one looks a litlte wormy.

No tattoo as far as I can tell or a chip. I'm trying to get onfo about her from the girl that has her.

Why don't you find out from the previous owners?  That's the logical first place to start.

Jackasses. They starve her and then they accuse her of being vicious...I'd have bitten them too. I'm surprised the vet didn't turn them in for animal abuse.

She's a beaut! Glad it worked out for her....

OK,

I just got the full story on her. Looks like the "Owner" that turned her into the vet was the BREEDER. I guess that the breeder does not know that this lady has her. (wrong IMO but it helped the dog). The lady that now has her is trying to get the breeder shut down as I guess that all her dogs look like this or close to it. She said that her town is small though and she is running into road blocks. I'm trying to find the name of the breeder out from her as I think this breeder should be publicly shamed for doing this to a dog. I'd like to hear her side of it as well.

Updated above with more pics. I found out the name of the breeder and will be calling her and e-mailing her for her side of the story. Something isn't adding up right.

This is the bitch aboves pedigree though.

Let us know how that conversation turns out.  That is a nice bitch and she didn't deserve the treatment she got.  I hope you are successful in your effort to shut them down.  Sounds like a puppy mill.  Careful about public shaming...it could come back to bite you in the butt.  The breeder may sue you.
