Have any of you made any successful purchases as a result of following some of the ads on here? I see some that capture my intereste, but I never recognize the kennel names and sometimes can't tell if they are legit or not. Would it be unusual to have a kennel, say the level of Eurosport posting an ad on here? Or is it mostly starter kennels?

What would be the problem if there are in the ads any starter kennels? .... - if they have good dogs with good lines I can¿t see any problems :-) - there are enough possibilities to contact the kennels if the requests are serious I think.

I saw an ad on here the other day from Kirschental................

True senta, all it takes is a phone call, but people lie, so ya know... I was just curious, trying to develop a ratio in my head what percentage of these ads might be good kennels vs the opposite. Thanks all for your replies.

I seen an add on here and contacted them about it a while back, actually it is a Kirschental dog named Major. The dog is exactly what I need in personality, but not the price I was thinking for the looks of the dog.

I think if adverts would have a price, the sellers wouldn't have to worry too much about reply's that go bad, really.

But the more time goes by saving and I browse other adverts .... the price's are listed and the dog looks better. What's a peep to do?

While we're critiquing the ads, I wish there was a search function for them, so you could just plug in a preferred price range, color, age, country etc and only have the ads you want pop up. It sucks doing the random click through...

Right - BabyEagle4U - but the price is not the only thing for a serious seller I think. There are some other important things what I like to know before I sell a puppy oversea... I had a lot of requests... I answer all, and not in first with the price telling - much more to know who are the people what want to buy my puppy and what want the people do with this puppy... to sell it again for a higher price ??? Most time I didn¿t get an answer when I ask for the buyers idea....
