Has anyone come across someone breeding a line of black and silver German German Shepherds?

I would think that is more American then German or Czech
I could be wrong anyone???

I've only seen them in American lines. That and black/cream.

Seems like all I have seen have been American. I do know the Rin Tin Tin lines have silver as the lighter colors showed up better on the black and white television screens.

PS... as a personal preference I have never liked the silver myself...but to each his own....

I believe it's a "dilute" so not something to be bred for (at least in German lines).

there is a kennel who breeds blacks and blk/silvers from am and ger working lines. they do compete and have had dogs sch. titled. try a search on Valiantdale gsd. also, I have had blk/silvers born from strong Ger/Belgium working lines.

There is a kennel called Vallahalla--not sure about the spelling. She is in Tulsa OK and does ScH with her dogs. She is known for blk/silvers.
