Hi All,
I had a female that was a cross of Jeck v. Noricum and Mark v. Haus Beck. Can anyone give me information on v.Haus Beck?
Location, web site etc.
thanks

I don't know all that much about showlines, BUT, I have heard on MORE THAN ONE occasion that Mark vom haus Beck is a hard showline. Meaning that the showline worked like a workingline.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I have a LITTLE knowledge of Jeck, first, he's in a LOT of pedigrees, not nearly as much as Ursus v Batu, but he's up there! Second, I know he has produced a few good showlines, nice drives ect...
I'm a pure workingline person, NO SHOWLINES for me, but I do have a LITTLE (keyword: LITTLE) knowledge of the showlines.
Good luck, hope you hear from far better sources than I

now that is funny Nayas Mom! did you know that Ursus is a grandson of Jeck Noricum? so, he has to appear just as much in the pedigrees as Ursus, but 2 generations back!

I can tell you my boy is 5-5,5-,5 in Mark v Haus Beck on father's side and his pedigree is almost exclusively Sch III, IPO III and Sch 2. Males and females. And he is very focused and intent, great prey drive and at seven months he has yet to be shaken by anything. His sister impressed the helper at her first Sch training so much that he wanted to know if more were available from that litter when she was 5 mos. He also has Troll von der bösen Nachbarschaft on dam's side so it might be from that also. Don't really know how you would determine that.
He has really rich color and I was told that came from the Mark v Haus Beck influence also.
Don't know how much that helps, if at all.

Sorry to brag. Well, not really sorry. I love to brag on him.

My understanding is that Haus Beck stopped breeding years ago, so to my knowledge there isn't a website for them. Sorry!

In his day Mark was a true top producer. He produced several VA's including Sieger Kimon ('94). As stated he was known to produce hard dogs. His line is carried on today most prominantly by the sons of Enzo Buchorn especially Yello vom St. Michaels-Berg and Nero vom Nobachtal and also VA2 Untox von Ducati descended from Mark son Nickor vd Holledau. With the Ursus bottle neck there is great need for these lines. Look to Yello son VA6 Nando vom Gollerweiher and Nero sons Solo Tea Fiemereck, Teejay Wilhendorf, and Campino Piste Trophe for the future of this line. Best Wishes, Jonah
