This may be deleted as its not about a GSD. Since there is a thread about a so called Pitbull, I thought I would share this. A friend of mine in The Philippines is a friend of Chief's owner, and he sent me the pics.

ABHAY---=i never said it was full-blooded, i said pits and pit mixes...you even said the dog had pit in it.....and it was not about pits!! i said that in the begining!!! it was about the safety of MY kids and MY dogs--MY GSD! and it was about what i sould do about a stray dog! learn to read!!!!

I don't think Abhay is directing this to your post at all. I think it just so happended that you had asked what can you do about the pit and pit bull mixes that are in your area, and Abhay happened to get this email. JMO.

That is so sad, but is exactly what they should be used for, protecting their family. We have some strange people in my rural area, and my pit bull/lab mix was the one that stepped forward and protected me, and would not leave me for a second.
iluvmyGSD, what I am saying here is in no direct to your post at all. I just want to make sure you understand that.
